Bao Zhenmin, an academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering and a professor at Ocean University of China, pointed out that although the current sea cucumber market is oversupply, with the development of breakthroughs in the cultivation of high-quality and fast-growing new varieties, the modernization of digitally enabled sea cucumber breeding, and the construction of smart marine pastures, The demand for sea cucumber products by Chinese residents will further increase in the future.
Jiang Jinjun, Secretary of the Party group and director of Weihai Marine Development Bureau, put forward a clear development plan when promoting the sea cucumber industry in Weihai. From highlighting the core position of the seed industry, continuously optimizing the breeding methods, to improving the level of intensive processing and promoting new products, to encouraging enterprises to carry out research on the nutrition and health function of sea cucumbers and tackling key problems in intensive processing technology, Weihai will take a more open attitude and more pragmatic measures to promote the sea cucumber industry to a higher quality and higher level.
At the meeting, Weihai Marine Development Bureau and Weihai News Media Center jointly initiated the establishment of Weihai Marine Industry Innovation Alliance, and Shandong Xinfa Holdings Co., Ltd. was awarded the chairman unit. it marks a solid step forward in the integration of resources and collaborative innovation of Weihai marine industry, and will also provide strong support for the construction of the whole industry chain.
Weihai Marine Industry Innovation Alliance also actively unblocked the deep integration of industry, university, research and application. At the meeting, it worked with the Yellow Sea Fisheries Research Institute of the Chinese Academy of Fishery Sciences, the Shandong Academy of Marine Sciences, and the First Institute of Oceanography of the Ministry of Natural Resources.13Signed strategic cooperation agreements with Shandong Xinfa Holdings Co., Ltd., Rongcheng Taixiang Food Co., Ltd., Shandong Podron Group Co., Ltd.11Through in-depth cooperation with universities, scientific research institutes and leading enterprises, it can not only realize resource sharing and complementary advantages, but also provide strong intellectual support for the continuous innovation of the industry.
