On the evening of December 3, 2024, around 17:00, the nearshore fleet of Xinfaholding's Haicheng Aquatic Products Group, which was conducting trawling operations in the 44th sea area, suddenly received an emergency notification from the Rongcheng City Marine and Fishery Safety Emergency Command Center. A nearby fishing boat from Dalian had a sudden malfunction, and the crew was in life-threatening danger, requiring immediate rescue.
Upon receiving the notification, the nearshore fleet of Haicheng Aquatic Products Group (Lurong Fish 59201/59202) immediately rushed to the accident site located at 38 degrees 42 minutes north latitude and 122 degrees 27 minutes 8 seconds east longitude in the 43rd sea area for rescue. To speed up the rescue, the fleet did not hesitate to cut off a trawling net worth over 100,000 yuan, braving the wind and waves to accelerate their journey. After more than an hour, they finally arrived at the accident site, but it was already past 6 PM. Due to the harsh sea conditions, low temperatures, and poor visibility, they could not see the accident vessel at all, making the search and rescue work extremely difficult. Under the command of the Rongcheng City Marine and Fishery Safety Emergency Command Center, the fleet continuously expanded the search and rescue area. After nearly an hour of relentless searching, they finally discovered a person who had fallen overboard. The fleet quickly rescued the person onto the ship and immediately took warming and examination measures for the crew member who had suffered from hypothermia and was unable to move normally. After providing necessary warmth and comfort to the rescued individual and confirming there were no issues, they safely handed them over to the Dalian fishing boat. During the rescue process, the fleet also assisted the Dalian fishing boat in discovering and rescuing two other individuals who had fallen overboard.
On December 5, the Dalian Marine Development Bureau presented a banner to Xinfaholding's Haicheng Aquatic Products Group, expressing gratitude for the fleet's selfless act of saving the crew's lives at all costs!
