Strengthen Awareness of Contract Compliance and Lawfulness to Solidify the Safety Defense Line for Deep-Sea Operations
To thoroughly implement the strategy of building a strong maritime nation, comprehensively enhance the legal literacy, international compliance capabilities, workplace safety skills, and mental health of distant-water fishing vessel crew members, and thereby consolidate the foundation for the high-quality development of the distant-water fishing industry, 2026 year 3 month 18 On [date], Xinfafa Holdings’ investee companies, Qingdao Far-Ocean Fisheries Co., Ltd. and Shandong Lanyue Far-Ocean Fisheries Co., Ltd., jointly hosted a comprehensive training conference on “Studying and Abiding by the Law, Standardizing Contract Performance, and Maintaining a Positive Mindset” for the distant-water fishing industry in Shidao, attended by relevant company officials and crew representatives. 120 More than X people attended the training.
This training program has specially invited experts from the China Overseas Fisheries Association, Shanghai Ocean University, Shandong Wenwen Law Firm, and professional mental health institutions to deliver joint instruction. The program is centered on the core needs of offshore fishing operations and provides systematic, professional, and targeted guidance. It focuses on three key pillars: compliance with laws and regulations, safe operations, and physical and mental well-being, with particular emphasis on the following three areas: first, legal education, in which lawyers from Shandong Wenwen Law Firm, under the theme “Stay Away from Smuggling Risks and Uphold the Legal Bottom Line,” systematically interpret relevant laws and regulations and key risk-control measures through real-world offshore fishing cases, thereby strengthening crew members’ legal awareness and defenses; second, compliance and safety, which centers on international compliance standards, maritime operational guidelines, and emergency response procedures, aiming to reinforce crew members’ adherence to standardized operating practices and their awareness of safety precautions, while ensuring that safety responsibilities are fully assumed; and third, mental health, which involves professional psychological counseling tailored to the specific conditions of crew members’ offshore work, with a focus on enhancing their emotional management skills and resilience to stress.
This training program is practical, highly targeted, and broadly comprehensive, effectively enhancing the participants’ overall competence and risk-management capabilities, thereby establishing robust safeguards for safety, compliance, and occupational health in distant-water fisheries operations.
